No Tuna DNA Found In Subway's Tuna Fish Sandwich

A New York Times investigation just uncovered a fishy situation. Several tuna fish sandwiches were purchased in the Los Angeles area and the samples were tested by a commercial food testing lab. The private investigation revealed that the tuna contained “no amplifiable tuna DNA.” and therefore the lab couldn't "conclude the species." A lawsuit was filed recently claiming that Subway’s tuna sandwiches ‘lack any trace of tuna’ and now it seems like that might be the case according to these findings.

This news comes months after an Irish court ruled that Subway bread isn't bread.
