James Earl Jones recently signed away his rights to the voice of Darth Vader.
Matthew Wood of LucasFilm said, "He had mentioned he was looking into winding down this particular character. So how do we move forward?"
LucasFilm is looking to use AI technology to use Jones' voice and recreate new scenes with this technology, but they will still consult Jones on his thoughts about the character moving forward.
