Molly Ringwald's Jazz Cover Of "Don't You (Forget About Me)"

With a movie career as iconic as Molly Ringwald's, it's easy to forget that the actress actually started out as a singer.

Her father, Bob Ringwald, was a jazz pianist and she began singing in his band at age three. Back in 2012, Ringwald decided to return to her roots and release a jazz album dedicated to the Great American Song Book. But one addition made the jazz cover album unique: a jazz rendition of The Breakfast Club anthem "Don't You (Forget About Me)."

Ringwald will likely not be remembered for her contributions to music, but this is still a great treat for anyone who's a fan of the movie and the actress.

Check out a live performanceo of the cover from her show "An Evening with Molly Ringwald."
