Live Nation To Pause All Current Tours Due To Coronavirus

The live concert industry is taking major hits with the increasing national concern over coronavirus. Venues in San Francisco are closing their doors and either cancelling or posting their shows scheduled for the month of March.

Since yesterday, one of the country's biggest concert promoters and venue operators, Live Nation, is dealing with the cancellations, postponements, and refunds. Now the entertainment company is planning to suspend all domestic and international tours and urging the artists and touring crews to come home, according to Billboard.

Rolling Stone reported that Live Nation informed its employees that the suspension would last throughout the rest of the month and reassess the situation in April, with the hopes of resuming the tours in May or June.

The tours affected by this suspension are some of the biggest currently running including Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Cher, Kiss, to name a few.
