Today Stevie Nicks checked in with fans on Twitter in a written life update. In the letter, she talked about what she's been getting up during the coronavirus pandemic.
She also revealed that she's been spending a lot of her time listening to Harry Styles' most recent album Fine Line and that it's been inspiring her to write some new songs and poetry! Nicks even went so far to call the album his "Rumours."
Stevie Nicks and Harry Styles are mutual fans of each other and their friendship has been well documented since the latter half of the 2010s. Styles gave a heartwarming speech when he inducted Stevie Nicks into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist (the first woman to be inducted twice) in 2019.
Fine Lines is full of homages and allusions to Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, and their 70s and 80s contemporaries. Just look to "Golden," a song off the album that wouldn't sound out place next to some of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits.
