Listening To AC/DC Can Help Fight Cancer
AC/DC can help wake you up on a dragging workday and apparently their music can also help fight cancer. In a new study, researchers played AC/DC's “Thunderstruck” and found that the music actually helped cancer-fighting drugs act more productively. Researchers played the song through a loudspeaker which actually caused the medication to vibrate. The medication needs to be coated with a special type of plasma to prevent it from breaking down too quickly, the music "shook" the meds and allowed it to be properly and consistently coated from all sides. Aside from AC/DC other heavy metal and rock songs had a similar "shaking effect" on the medication. The researchers said soft rock and other music had little to no effect.
