David Lee Roth Mocks Sammy 'Van Hagar' In New Interview
David Lee Roth sat down for an interview with the Joe Rogan Experience and he had some very interesting things to say about his . 1985 Van Halen replacement Sammy Hagar.
David compared switching out band singers to switching out actors in a production of "West Side Story." He added that he wanted to "be the art project" and "not just wear one" during his time with the band. His comments seemed to be all in fun. He also gave other examples of how bands could still sound the same with certain singers but some are just irreplaceable. I would love to go drinking with David he seems like a fun guy!
