Elton John announced that he is getting ready to tell his story later this year. The movie Rocketman is based on the singer's rise to fame but he promised readers that this is going to be his story in his own words for the first time ever.

My life has been one helluva roller coaster ride and I’m now ready to tell you my story, in my own words. My first and only official autobiography will be released October 2019.
