Airbnb Launches Hotline For Kincade Fire Evacuees To Find Free Lodging
Airbnb has added a hotline-- 650-249-3242-- to make it easier for Kincade Fire evacuees and relief workers to book free, temporary lodging under its Open Homes program. Currently there are over 1,800 hosts across Northern California have opted-in to offer free, temporary accommodations to those impacted by the Kincade Fire. Airbnb also announced it expanded the activation area to include San Francisco, the East Bay, South Bay, Santa Cruz, and the Tracy-Modesto area.
Existing Airbnb hosts and anyone with free space in the activation area can now opt to list their homes for $0 and offer accommodations to those in need by visiting (www.airbnb.com/kincadefire19).
