In an unexpected move, Ace Frehley on Wednesday revealed he'll be reuniting with his former bandmates for an upcoming KISS event in Miami.
Before members of the KISS Army get too excited, it should be noted that Frehley's reunion will be with his former Frehley's Comet bandmates. And they'll get getting together to perform on the ninth annual "KISS Kruise," which will feature a number of acts -- except the act the cruise is named after.
Organizers of the cruise had already booked Return of the Comet -- the name the band has been using without Frehley -- before they landed the ex-KISS guitarist. So, in addition to performing with his current band, Frehley has agreed to play two songs with Return of the Comet. The KISS Kruise, which leaves Miami on October 28th, will also feature Sebastian Bach, John Corabi and KISS tribute bands Kissterious, Sin City Kiss and Kiss America.
