Being that Bon Jovi's namesake, Jon Bon Jovi, has made several attempts over the years to parlay his success in music into an acting career, it makes sense that the name of his band's upcoming album sounds more like the title of a big-screen sequel: "Bon Jovi: 2020."
The frontman revealed the album's title on Tuesday during a Q-and-A session with fans aboard the Runaway to Paradise Mediterranean Cruise. He said the follow-up to 2016's "This House is For Sale" couldn't have turned out better. "I’m very happy with it," Jon Bon Jovi told the audience. "It’s a different record." While he didn't elaborate on what makes the album different, the New Jersey native said he knew exactly what he wanted going in. "'This House is Not For Sale' dealt with personal matters, and now it’s behind us," Bon Jovi said. "Now I have clear vision moving forward."
Following his chat with fans, Bon Jovi performed an acoustic set that included such Bon Jovi standards as "You Give Love a Bad Name," "It’s My Life" and "Livin’ On A Prayer."
