Brian Johnson Says He Got Writer's Block While Working On AC/DC Album

Life could have turned out very different for AC/DC had Brian Johnson never broke through his slump while working on Back In Black, as he details in a new interview with Dan Rather.

Speaking to the famed journalist for his The Big Interview show on AXS TV, the singer says he suffered from writer's block, admitting he was "Feeling completely out of ideas".

But a storm rolling in while out to breakfast with producer Mutt Lange gave Johnson the creative jolt he needed, inspiring the lyrics to "Hells Bells".

"I mean I literally was giving a weather report," jokes Johnson in the episode that airs on Tuesday, October 1. Check out a preview of the interview below!
