While the status of Van Halen remains hanging in the balance, the band is making an effort to tide over fans by releasing a new box set comprising 13 singles they released in Japan.
The appropriately-named "Japanese Singles" set will include 13 seven-inch vinyl records that were released between 1978 and 1984. The collection, which will include original sleeve artwork, will be offered in black and red vinyl versions.
What won't be included with the release, however, is previously-unheard music from the band. Each of the songs featured on the records has been released in the U.S. on one of Van Halen's first six albums. Pre-orders for the red vinyl set are being accepted now, with the black vinyl set dropping on November 1st.
