Former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing, who's made a career out of complaining about his ex-bandmates, has received support from another former member of the band.
Onetime Priest drummer Les Binks, who's teamed with Downing and former singer Tim "Ripper" Owens to form a Judas Priest cover band, says despite his years of inactivity, Downing is in "great form and playing better than ever."
The trio of ousted Priest members, along with Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and Hostile guitarist A.J. Mills, are set to do a one-off performance of "Judas Priest classics" next month in the U.K. Binks, who says he's "immensely excited" about the gig, notes it will mark "the first time that K.K. and I have walked onto a stage together since our time together in Judas Priest."
