Prince’s Estate To Release Archival Titles From Early 2000s

Prince’s estate will release music from the early 2000s this Spring. Several archival studio and live releases are set to arrive on April 17th. The newly released music includes two studio albums, 2001′s “The Rainbow Children” and 2002’s “One Nite Alone.”

“The Rainbow Children,” was originally released in November 2001 and featured songs about spirituality, sexuality, love and social consciousness and were recorded during Prince's conversion to the Jehovah’s Witness religion.

“One Nite Alone” was released in May of 2002 and featured a remake of Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You.” Also, coming April 17th will be a series of live music Prince recorded during nine shows he performed with his New Power Generation band.
