Dee Snider Hints At Surprise Malcolm Young Appearance On New AC/DC Album

The upcoming AC/DC album will include "some surprises" from late guitarist Malcolm Young.

That's the word from the band's self-appointed champion, former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider. In an interview to discuss his petition to get the band hired for next year's Super Bowl halftime show, Snider dropped a few bits of information regarding AC/DC's first album without Young. "I had dinner with Brian Johnson recently, and we talked about the band's return to activity," Snider says. "He told me a lot of stuff, and a lot of stuff that I don't wanna say."

What Snider does say, however, is fans who fear the band's sound will suffer without Young will be pleasantly surprised. "The classic lineup is back together and there are some surprises, which I can't talk about, regarding Malcolm Young that just had my jaw on the floor," he says. "I will say he will be present. So this is AC/DC as we know and love them."
