Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, along with his sons Joey and Jakob, performed a cover of 'I Think We're Alone Now' on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Performing via the singer's recording studio in Berkeley, the Armstrongs deliver a punk-pop take on the Tommy James and the Shondells single.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Tommy James said of the cover, “I am honored that Billy Joe Armstrong covered my hit of ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ – I have always been a huge fan of Green Day – met them a few years back at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – Billy did a great job and the lyrics seem to be so perfect for this moment in our history…..the quality of the recording is so good, it’s hard to believe he did it from his house. Thanks, Billy!”
