More stores are offering special hours as they reopen. Kohl's, Ross, Home Goods, JC Penney, and T.J. Maxx are setting aside special times for older people, pregnant women, and those with weak immune systems to shop. Many grocery stores including Walmart and Target already have 'senior hours' available.
At risk cutomers include seniors, expectant mothers and anyone with extended health concerns:
- Kohl's extended hours from 11 am to 7 pm and added curbside pickup to stores. Wednesday mornings include one extra hour for at-risk shoppers.
- JC Penney added designated hours for at-risk customer on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 am to noon.
- T.J. Maxx added extra hours to remain open from 11 am to 7 pm
- Walgreens will allow at-risk shoppers to enter the store from 8 am to 9 am on Tuesday
