Nearly 36 years after it peaked at number 12, Ratt's "Round and Round" has resurfaced on the Billboard Top 20 chart.
The track, which occupies the number 18 spot on this week's Top 20 Rock Digital Song Sales chart, is experiencing a new wave of popularity thanks to a Geico TV commercial. The spot, which pushes Geico homeowners' insurance, features a family that talks about how happy they've been since purchasing their new home -- if it wasn't for their "Ratt problem." The commercial then cuts to the members of the 1980s hair metal band, performing "Round and Round" in various rooms.
"A huge thank you to all of our fans, old and new, who have pushed Ratt up the charts this year, 2020, the year of the Ratt," the band posted online. "We look forward to seeing all of you out on the road when our tour is back on track. We are going to celebrate this success with each and every one of our Ratt ‘n' roll fans!"
