A strong immune system is on everybody's minds these days. My daughter sent me this article below and I thought it was great advice.
Here are some great tips on how to eat your way to a healthy immune system:
- Eat a lot of vegetables
- Eat healthy spices like cinnamon, oregano, and turmeric.
- Eat lots of whole grains
- Eat sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and spinach for vitamin A.
- Eat oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, papaya, strawberries or red bell pepper for vitamin C.
- Eat beans, seeds, and nuts for zinc
