FDA Warns Against These 14 Potentially Hazardous Hand Sanitizers

Throughout the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has recommended that people wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or, if there isn't a place available to wash your hands to be sure to use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Unfortunately there have been quite a few sanitizers on the market that have been found to contain a toxic ingredient, methanol.

The FDA has listed the following 14 products manufactured by Esk Biochem:

  • All-Clean Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-002-01)
  • Esk Biochem Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-007-01)
