Bay Area legend Sheila E. is partnering with Stevie Wonder, George Lopez, Jo Koy, Pete & Juan Escovedo, Goapele, Mahershala Ali and others for an all-star online variety special scheduled for today/Thursday July 23 in Oakland.
The We Stand Together benefit event, which is being performed at Yoshi's in Jack London Square, will be streamed at 7 pm on Facebook, the Sheila E. YouTube page and www.elevateoakland.org/standtogether.
The proceeds from the concert benefit Black Lives Matter as well as the local youth arts/media nonprofits YR Media and Elevate Oakland which was co-founded by Sheila E.
