The San Francisco Police Dept. says it's adding additional staff and will enforce health directives as well as the city's ban on gatherings over 12 people.
Earlier this month, the City's Dept. of Emergency Management issued rules for a safe Halloween amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The "Safer Halloween Guidance" discourages trick-or-treating.
