Avocados have a super beneficial effect on our bodies, they can help prevent diabetes!
November is National Diabetes Month, focusing on the condition you get when your blood sugar is too high. Type 1 diabetes you’re born with, like Brett Michaels of Poison, but Type 2 diabetes the CDC says can be prevented or delayed by exercise and healthy eating!
The CDC says salads, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower cabbage and carrots are all great for you. If you have diabetes or are pre-diabetic ( your blood sugar is higher than normal but not high enough to be considered diabetes yet) take action and eat more of these healthy vegetables, plus treat yourself to guacamole!
Avocados contain compounds that can help keep your blood sugar levels healthy. Unbalanced blood sugars can lead to heart attacks and strokes. Stay healthy, make avocados a regular part of your diet!
