Today is #GivingTuesday. Right now, people around the globe are coming together: showing kindness and generosity by giving their voices, time, money, goods, and more to support communities and causes.

Here are some of Martha Quinn's favorite non-profits:

Muttville, the senior dog rescue organization in San Francisco. Right now all donations are doubled and they have many senior pups looking for forever homes.

Sonoma Community Animal Response Team, a community-led bunch of non profit rock stars that help with animal evacuation, transport, sheltering, and bringing animals back home after an emergency, accident or disaster.

Redwood Empire Food Bank, one of many incredible food banks in the Bay Area. Last year they served nutritious food to 1 in 6 people in Sonoma, Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino, and Lake counties.

Food Empowerment Project, an organization focusing on food justice to make a real difference in the lives of humans, non-human animals, and the earth.

La Casa De Las Madres-The mission of La Casa de las Madres is to respond to calls for help from domestic violence victims, of all ages, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Early Alert Canines, is an organization based out of Concord, California. There mission is to improve the the health, safety, and well-being of insulin-dependent diabetics through partnerships with certified low blood sugar alert dogs. Early Alert Canines train and provide medical alert dogs to insulin-dependent diabetics who need them.

Cinnamongirl, one of many incredible organizations for young girls based out of Oakland. Cinnamongirl transforms ordinary girls into extraordinary leaders who are proud, confident & courageous. Your donation will help fun programs that give girls of color opportunities to travel the world, learn financial literacy, nurture creativity, and foster lifelong bonds with other ambitious girls and women of color.
