Paul McCartney just dropped his third solo album and it took the former “Beatle” 50 years.
McCartney spoke about the album McCartney III, he made "just for my own fun," with Jimmy Fallon during Thursday night’s The Tonight Show.
With no formal training, McCartney played every instrument on the album, and maybe listening to Spotify helped him as he admits to listening to the streaming service and getting new music sent to him via his assistant.
McCartney also spoke about collaborations such as the one with Kanye West. On the song “FourFiveSeconds” McCartney was secretly recorded strumming the guitar and months later Kanye had turned it into a song featuring Rihanna.
