A new study reveals that one type of music calms you down and another style of music really irritates you.

If your doctor has been telling you to lower your blood pressure or you've been trying to find a way to reduce your stress, science says "Let the Music Play." Songs like Toni Basil's "Mickey," WHAM's 'Freedom,' and Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf" were in a recent study and these songs were shown to reduce the blood pressure of almost 100% of the people who were set up to listen to them. The doctor who led the study said "80's music can cause our brains to send out endorphins and serotonin." Both chemicals create feelings of happiness and calm.
