If you drive a Ford Explorer, a Ford F-350, or a Lincoln Aviator, heads up your car may be in the latest Ford recall! 6 injuries have been reported, and there are increased crash risks and potential risks of fire so the Ford Motor Company is recalling over 850,000 vehicles in the US. Here are 3 key points in Ford’s press release on the recall:
If you have 2013 thru 2017 Explorer, you’ll start to be notified on August 23 if you need your cross-axis ball joint/knuckle replaced
The 2020 and 2021 Lincoln Aviators might need a tie strap near the frame rail
If you’ve got an F 350 Super Duty truck, you may need the dealer to perform a weld repair on the spring seats
