Sea moss, also known as Irish moss or red seaweed, is a type of seaweed that grows on the Atlantic coast. You buy it dried and then cook it to make a gel which is how you consume sea moss.

Studies published at the National Institute Of Health show sea moss has anti-viral and anti-tumor properties. Good Housekeeping says sea moss helps you make collagen, the protein that keeps you young-looking and maintains smooth skin and healthy hair.
If you have a thyroid disorder, be aware sea moss is high in iodine so check it out with your doctor.
