The Curry's are giving back to the community once again. Steph and Ayesha Curry introduced the Eat. Learn. Play. Bus which aims to provide nutritious meals, groceries, books, and more to Oakland children and families in a unique, fun, and engaging way.
The passenger side of the bus focuses on food distribution and will regularly include:
- Everyday grocery staples
- Quality meals prepared by local restaurants
- Fresh fruits and vegetables from California farms
The food on the bus is being provided by the Alameda Food Bank. The Eat. Learn. Play. Bus will be hosting community events, too, such as health screenings and youth sports clinics. The Currys want to challenge the stigma children to feel around accepting free things and replace that with surprising, delightful, and fun activities.
The bus also offers opportunities for play with a basketball hoop, sound system, and roof deck that can hold 35 people.
