William Shatner is finally going to space - for real.
The 90-year-old Star Trek actor will head into 'the final frontier' with Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin space team next week.
Shatner discussed his big trip on the Today show Tuesday: "I'm thrilled and anxious and a little nervous and a little frightened about this whole new adventure".
That said, Shatner says he can't wait to see "the vastness of space and the extraordinary miracle of our Earth and how fragile it is".
The flight will launch on Oct. 12th and last just a few minutes. It's the second launch for Blue Origin, following Bezos' inaugural spaceflight in July.
