Eddie Van Halen Honored With Plaque In His Hometown

Eddie Van Halen's hometown of Pasadena, CA has paid tribute to the late guitarist.

On Monday, the Pasadena city council unveiled a commemorative plaque outside the Pasadena Civic Auditorium - a venue Van Halen played more than a dozen times in its early years.

Eddie and Alex Van Halen moved from Holland to Pasadena as children, and it's where they formed Van Halen with fellow locals David Lee Roth and Michael Anthony.
