Queen, Motley Crue, and Elton John all have biopics, but David Bowie's widow Iman won't allow one made about her late husband.
The model told Variety that she had been asked about writing a memoir AND doing a film about her husband's life.
“I’ve been asked, and people say things like, ‘Your love story should be made into a movie.’ Oh, dear God, no!” she laughed.
“It’s just so private," she added. "Also, it’s a family decision. It’s always a no. We always ask each other, ‘Would he do it?’ He wouldn’t. We want to honor his decision.”
Meanwhile, Iman is launching her first fragrance inspired by her late husband David Bowie.
Talking with Variety, the former model said that she got the idea for a fragrance while looking at a sunset and wearing Bowie's cologne.
“The sunset reminded me of Florence. David and I got married there,” Iman said. “All of that together just brought David home to me. Like he was sitting next to me watching the sunset.”
Iman's fragrance, "Love Memoir," goes on sale at HSN.com on November 19.
Iman also says she will never remarry following the death of David Bowie. It has been five years since his death and Iman says she has her good days and her bad days.
There are days that are harder than other's but the memories are not all sad of why the person is not here. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I had 26 years so I have that to sustain me.
On whether she will ever marry again she says no. I will not. I still feel married. She also does not like it when people refer to him as her late husband because she says she still feels his presence.
