The Ohio State Marching Band has the need for speed!
The Ohio State Marching Band who are well known for their amazing halftime performances recently paid tribute to Top Gun with a tribute during their halftime show back on November 13th. The performance caught the eye of Tom Cruise who wrote the band a letter and surprised them all!
“Dear band, theTop Gun tribute was fantastic. What a phenomenal performance, thank you so much,” Cruise wrote. “I'd love for you all to be my guest for a special screening ofTop Gun: Maverick in Columbus this spring and best of luck to the Ohio State University in the Rose Bowl. Sincerely, Tom Cruise.”
