McDonald's is expanding the McPlant, their plant-based sandwich, to 600 locations in the San Francisco Bay area and Dallas beginning on February 14th.
The sandwich was created in conjunction with Beyond Meat and tested in eight locations in November.
The McPlant is made from plant-based ingredients like peas, rice, and potatoes.
The sandwich is served with tomato, lettuce, pickles, onions, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and a slice of American cheese on a sesame seed bun.
If you are a vegan like me you can do without the mayo and cheese!
