John Mellencamp is opening up his hilltop home in Santa Barbara, California.
The rocker shared his recent renovation of the Spanish-inspired bungalow at archdigest.com saying, "Quite honestly, I see it as a place for me to go with an invited guest. It does have a very romantic feel to it. I'm above the clouds. The view is like, wow."
He went on to say, "You get this thing, particularly at night when the winds blow; it takes a certain kind of colorful person to want to be up there [at the very top].”
The home is in the upscale Montecito community and has stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
