Mick Jagger is co-producing a documentary series about James Brown.
A&E says the four-part series "James Brown: Say It Loud" will be executive produced by Jagger and two members of the Roots, Black Thought and Questlove, who's up for an Oscar for his documentary "Summer of Soul." Jagger said in a statement that he's thrilled to be part of the project, and called Brown "a brilliant performer who inspired me from the beginning and was deeply committed to the Civil Rights Movement."
The docuseries will include never-before-seen archival footage of James Brown. It's set to premiere on A&E in 2023.
