Wolfgang Van Halen, a nominee for Best Rock Song at Sunday's Grammys, brought along a special guest for his big night -- mom Valerie Bertinelli.
Wolfgang, who is also the son of late guitar great Eddie Van Halen, was nominated for his Mammoth WVH song, "Distance," which was written about his dad.
The award went instead to Foo Fighters for "Waiting on a War" but Wolfgang wrote on Twitter after the show that he was still feeling "pretty d*mn grateful" to be nominated and noted that his dad didn't win the first he was nominated either, "so it looks like I'm following in his footsteps quite nicely."
