Do you live in an area where tornadoes occur? Here's what to do if a tornado may be headed your way!
Most tornado damage happens on the top floors of structures. If a tornado warning is issued in your area, make sure you have shoes on and go to the lowest level of your house that you can.
Once there, get to the most interior spot like a hallway or bathroom. You’re trying to put as many walls between you and the outside of your house as possible.
You can grab pillows or couch cushions to put over yours and your kids’ heads for protection against anything that might fall.
