Lionel Richie will officially be joining Katy Perry as judges on the rebooted “American Idol” on ABC next year. Ryan Seacrest will also be returning to host the popular singing competition. Richie said, “As a singer, songwriter and producer, I feel I can bring a great deal of experience to the table."
