There have been many wonderful tributes to Prince since his passing but no one can do it better than the group of musicians that actually played with him from the very beginning and onto in the era that made him a worldwide superstar. Prince’s original backing band was Dr. Fink, Lisa Coleman, Bobby Z., Wendy Melvoin (replaced Dez Dickerson in 1983) and Brownmark (replaced Andre Cymone in ‘82) and together they are The Revolution. They just announced they’ll be on tour celebration Prince very soon.
