It's been reported that a demo tape from David Bowie's early days is now up for auction. A reel-to-reel tape containing four tracks recorded at Decca Studio 2 in West Hampstead, London, around 1967, has been listed by Omega Auction. The tracks were planned for Bowie's first album but were eventually cut. The auction's winner will receive demo versions of tracks "Funny Smile," "Did You Ever Have A Dream," "Bunny Thing" and "Pussy Cat." Auctioneer Paul Fairweather said, "We consider this tape to be amongst the rarest that we have offered for sale. Omega Auctions estimate that the tape could sell for £8,000 or $10,445 at auction.
