The drama between Masha and Ronnie Shak's divorce ended up where many relationship woes do these days — on Facebook. Ronnie Shak used the social media site to blast his soon to be ex-wife and also to update his friends and family on the fight for his son. Ronnie went so far as calling for friends to 'unfollow' his ex, calling her names and he even created a GoFundMe page titled “Help me KEEP MY SON.” His actions may have seemed a bit extreme especially with a child involved but according to a ruling this past week by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, they were within his legal right of free speech.

Immediately after the ruling Ronnie Shak proceeded to resume his postings on social media. The ruling also noted that one spouse, if offended by the other’s speech, has the option of suing for defamation or seeking a harassment prevention order.
