California is taking another step forward when it comes to getting back to "normal." Governor Gavin Newsom announced that schools, day camps, bars, gyms and professional sports with modifications may begin reopening beginning next Friday (June 12). This is welcomes news to several of these businesses that have been closed since mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Schools and day camps will be allowed to open statewide however the rules guiding the other businesses will be based on county guidelines. The Bay Area guidelines were not immediately available.
