There will also be temperature checks for guests and cast members before they are allowed to enter the park. Here is the list of new rules according to the Disneyland website:

  • Enhanced Protective Measures: Mandatory face coverings for both Cast Members and Guests, with the addition of hand-washing stations and physical barriers, where appropriate.
  • Reduced park capacity to enable physical distancing and add appropriate signage.
  • All Guests will undergo temperature screenings. This rule pertains to both Downtown Disney District or the theme parks
  • Health screenings and temperature checks will be required daily for Cast Members.
  • Cashless transactions will be encouraged and Cast Member and Guest interactions will be limited with more Mobile Ordering in our Disneyland app, Apple Pay and more.
  • Enhanced Cleaning and Sanitation

Downtown Disney District will reopen on July 9th. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will welcome visitors on July 17th and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will welcome guests back on July 23rd.
