The autopsy results of actress Naya Rivera have been completed. According to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office Rivera was identified via dental records and her cause of death was from accidental drowning. Officials recovered the body of Naya Rivera from Lake Piru in southern California, five days after the Glee actress disappeared into the lake.
Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said a body was found Monday morning floating near the surface in a northeastern section of the lake. Authorities confirmed that the body was indeed Rivera. Rescue crews found her 4-year-old son alone and asleep aboard a rented pontoon boat. Officials also said there were no signs of foul play, alcohol, or drugs in Naya's body at the time of death, but a toxicology test will be done. Naya Rivera's body was discovered in Lake Piru Monday near the surface of the water.
