Janet Jackson is cleaning out her closet and her fans are going to reap the rewards. Well, her fans and Compassion International a charity that Janet is playing on giving a portion of the proceeds to. Alongside her personal items, Janet is going to sell a limited edition three-volume set of auction catalogs, offered at $800. The auction will be held May 14-16 in Beverly Hills. This is the first time that Janet Jackson has done anything like this or offered this type of access to her personal items. Janet has been keeping everything in storage.
A few of the items from the "Property From The Life And Career Of Janet Jackson" auction up for sale are:
- Her personal fully restored 1956 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup truck
- The long metallic jacket she wore in the Scream video with Michael
- The original Rhythm Nation Jacket from the 1990 world tour
- Janet's wedding outfit from her second, secret marriage to Rene Elizondo Jr.
The public exhibition will be held Monday, May 10th – Friday, May 14th, 2020 Daily: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time and it is Free to the Public
