We finally have an update on KTVU's veteran anchor Frank Somerville. The Bay Area newsman will be taking an indefinite leave of absence following this past Sunday's broadcast where he was seen slurring his speech during a news report. Fox spokeswoman Victoria Gurrieri said on Thursday, “We can confirm Frank is taking time away from the desk to focus on his health and we welcome his return when he is ready.” I definitely hope that whatever it is that Frank is going through he has a speedy recovery.
