If you are a Star Wars fan check your old VHS tapes because you could be sitting on a gold mine. A vintage, unopened VHS copy of Star Wars is going up for auction and it is expected to sell for......wat for it.........$60,000. Although this is just an estimate a previous copy of the same VHS tape sold for $57,000 a few years ago. According to TMZ, the tape is a 1984 first release of Star Wars IV: A New Hope. Although the movie was released in 1977 this particular edition of the VHS was the first time fans could watch at home. The copy that is on the auction block includes a "Gray Tape-Head", a "First Edition Stereo Only" red label, a "1984 Sleeve" and "First Edition CBS/Fox Watermarks." The auction is set to end on Wednesday, February 23rd so if you have an extra $60K laying around you better act fast.
