Aerosmith Announces Farewell Tour Starting In September

Aerosmith is getting ready for a celebration of their 50-plus years together.

The band has announced the dates for their farewell tour called “Peace Out.” The band posted a 'breaking news' style video featuring Eminem, Dolly Parton, Ringo Starr, and others!

The trek will start September 2 in Philadelphia and the 40-date run will end January 26 in Montreal. The band will have The Black Crowes with them.

Guitarist Joe Perry said, “I think it’s about time. It’s kind of a chance to celebrate the 50 years we’ve been out here. You never know how much longer everybody’s going to be healthy to do this. It’s been a while since we’ve actually done a real tour. We did that run in Vegas, which was great. It was fun, but (we're) kind of anxious to get back on the road.“

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on May 5 via ticketmaster.com. Several VIP packages including premium seating and a photo op with the band will also be available.
